URF Launches the Teatime Show

After the success of the Breakfast Show, URF are launching a Teatime Show too! We've picked a selection of our best presenters and producers to bring you a show every weekday from 4-6 at www.urfonline.com/listen :) Each day will be a different specialist show, so there is something for everyone -
Mondays: The Entertainment Show We'll be bringing you the latest in celebrity gossip, music, tv, radio and... film - don't miss out :) Tuesdays: The Game Show Our presenters will challenge guests and listeners to compete in URF's very own Game Show - let the battle commence! Wednesdays: The Brighton Arts Show Want to be the first to know what's happening in Brighton? Tune in on Wednesdays to hear about all the up and coming events in music and the arts in our favouite city. Thursdays: The Campus Show The show that's made 100% by students, for students! We'll have all you need to know about student life, a rundown of what's happening on campus that week and a societies takeover every show! Fridays: The Debate Show URF will be showcasing the issues that matter to you in our weekly panel show. We'll be covering all the hottest talking points, but with an amusing twist :) Start listening from Monday 23rd January. Fat Boy Slim Competition Closes!

URF are pleased to announce that we wil be presenting a live show with Norman Cook, a.k.a. the legendary Fat Boy Slim! He will be hosting an interview at East Slope Bar on Monday 16th January from 3pm, and URF and the USSU are giving away 200 free guest passes to the event. This years URF elections will be taking place on December 1st in Arts A05 at 6.30pm.
URF members elec a new committee every year to take over the running of the station in January.

NEW LOGO FOR URF
URF, has got a whole new look for the 2011-2012 academic year.
The station launched a competition back in January to find a new logo and received dozens of entries. At a packed meeting URF members discussed the pros and cons of the various designs. A vote was held and a design chosen as the favourite.
